Getting Started
WooCommerce requires an active WordPress hosting environment to operate. It’s deployed on the same managed hosting platform we provide for our other application services. What’s Included With Hosting
NER Online Enterprises hosts and maintains the server and WordPress environment your WooCommerce store runs on, including the underlying server infrastructure, PHP/database stack, WordPress core updates, routine security patching, server monitoring, automated backups of the database and uploaded files (retained on a rolling basis and restored by request), and scheduled updates for WooCommerce and supported core extensions.
What’s Yours to Manage
Once your store is live, you’re responsible for managing your products, pricing, inventory data, shipping policies, taxes, promotions, customer accounts, orders, refunds, and store content. You’ll also manage your payment processor accounts, fulfillment workflows, store users, and the accuracy of the product and customer information you maintain. We recommend periodically exporting product, customer, and order data from WooCommerce as an additional backup and business continuity measure. Store design customization, advanced marketing strategy, product merchandising, data migration, and custom development services are available separately.
WooCommerce is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). We deploy standard WooCommerce software and compatible extensions, with source code publicly available through the WooCommerce project and plugin developers.
