What’s Included With Hosting

NER Online Enterprises hosts and maintains the server and WordPress environment your CiviCRM instance runs on — the underlying server, PHP/database stack, security patching of the hosting platform and WordPress core, routine backups of the server, database, and uploaded files (retained on a rolling basis, with restoration handled by our team on request), and installing official CiviCRM version updates on a regular schedule.

What’s Yours to Manage

Once your instance is live, you’re responsible for building and running your own campaigns, events, and donation/registration pricing; managing your own Contributor and Event participant enrollment, changes, and refunds through CiviCRM; configuring your own payment processor and email settings; managing your Campaign Manager and assistant user accounts; and the accuracy and privacy compliance of the contact, donor, and member data you load into CiviCRM. We’d also recommend periodically exporting your own contact, donor, and event lists to CSV from within CiviCRM as an extra safety net — this is available to you directly through Search/Export and doesn’t require our involvement. Fundraising or membership-program strategy and hands-on configuration help beyond the platform itself are available separately.

CiviCRM is licensed under the AGPL. We run unmodified CiviCRM core, and its source is publicly available from the CiviCRM project.
