Small organizations shouldn’t have to choose between running on capable technology and being able to afford someone to run it.
Not long ago, a church that wanted to stream its service, a nonprofit that wanted to keep track of its donors, or a small business that wanted to sell online had two realistic options: an enterprise platform at an enterprise price, or nothing at all.
Open-source software closed that gap. WordPress, WooCommerce, LearnDash, Mautic, CiviCRM and MediaCP now do work that used to require six-figure systems, and any organization can download them tomorrow. But it opened a second gap in the process. The software is free; knowing how to configure it safely, keep it patched, and get it back when it breaks is not — and that expertise is exactly what a small organization can’t justify hiring full time.
NER Online Enterprises exists in that second gap. Our aim is that an organization of any size can run the same class of systems a much larger one does, and still have a person to call when they misbehave.
